GREY CROWNED ROSY FINCH

They are the seed-eaters. They species include GOLDFINCH , CROSSBILLS , REDPOLES AND CANARIES.

There are some 13 to 14 but closely related species off finches on the GALAPAGOS ISLAND which discovered by " CHARLES DARWIN "------- so this is called "DARWIN'S FINCH ".

Question about pet parrots.

Surender kumar has sent me a email about a problem for his pet parrot, which is 1.5 years old and he thinks that the parrot has a "worm " problem. Surender Kumar's email address is ------- suren.kumar06@gmail.com
Mr Suren you can deworming your pet easily.
1.Remove the water container from the cage at night.
2.At morning take little water in the container.
3.Add 5 to 6 drops of 'LIV-52 OR LEVOLIN SYRUP' into this water.
4.Continue this medicine for 5days on same process.
5.On 6th day you add 5 drops of any "ALBENDAZOLE SYRUP" (VETERNERY) into this water.
6.Then 3 to 4 days you give your pet 4 to 5 drops of "VIT -B COMPLEX SYRUP".
7.Always remember that the water container must remove every night and wash it properly.
I think you will see that your pet will be fine after a few days.

Hydatidosis

Dog is big bag of a tape worm named " Eccinococcus granulosus " the dwarf worm . That Tape worm may not harm to the dog but can creat a big problem like " Hydrocephalas, cysts in the brain, liver, lungs, abdominal cavity " etc the disease in man,which is known as "Hydatidosis" . More over it is not a big problem, because it can be controled by a nominal medicine. So if you have a dog in your house to avoid the situation please take advice from a Veterinarian, who can help you in this regard.

How you can protect from Bird Flue ?

Please abide by the following suggestions to protect from Avian influenza / Bird flue------
1) Don't take any food or drinks in the bird's premices.
2) Use special dress when you enter in to the birds premices. That should be washed with soap after work daily .
3) Bird cages & rooms should be washed with bliching or lime water at least thrice in a week.
4) Use immuno modulator medicines like " garlic" etc.
5) If you like to bring new birds to your cage please put it to quarentine for 15 days. If after quarentine those birds are healthy then you may put in to your old cage. Either those should be burried with lime.
6) When you bring edible eggs from the market . Make lime water , wash those eggs & the bags properly with that lime water then put those eggs to the egg busket; boil those eggs properly , then eat.
7) When you bring Poultry meat from the market , that meat should cook properly , it should be better to cook it by pressor coocker. The bag should be washed with soap water. Do not put your hand to mouth at the time of handling the rough meat.

Take health care of your pet cats immidiately.

Cat is a nice pet. It is a miniature form of a 'Tiger', so scientists are calling to a 'Tiger' as a big cat. But as a public helth Veterinarian, I advice please to take care of your cat's health . If you neglect that nice pet , it may creat a lot of helth problems in your family i.e- " Toxocariasis" ; "Toxoplasmosis" etc: . It is not a very tough job to prevent those problems . Please consult your "House Vet". I am sure he will guide you properly.
