INDIAN PARAKEET(3)

Now this is the unique RED BRESTED PARAKEET. Psittacula alexandri .In BENGALI they are often called " MADNA " . They need to protect themselves because they are very few in this time.
This is BLOSSOM HEADED PARAKEET .Psittacula roseata . These two birds ( blossom headed and plum headed ) have same looks at a glance . But there must have some differences in these birds because they are from the two different species . If any person or any blog reader kindly throw some light on it ,it is very much appreciable.




This is Indian PLUM HEADED PARAKEET. Psittacula cyanocephala. In BENGALI they are called ' PHULTUSI" . But they are also endemic species.

INDIAN PARAKEET (2).

This is LONG TAILED PARAKEET. Psittacula longicauda. They are about to extinct from the world, kindly notice ---how beautiful they are.
This is ROSE RINGED PARAKEET. Psittacula krameri . There is no red patches on the wings of this groups birds like ALEXANDRINE PARAKEET.

This is ALEXANDRINE PARAKEET. Psittacula eupatria . It is often called that THE GREAT ALEXANDER brought them in EUROPE. See the red patches on the wings of this bird. This red patches are distinguished them from the ROSE RINGED PARAKEET.


INDIAN PARAKEETS (1).

This is MALABAR PARAKEET. Psittacula columboides. This is an endemic species.


This is VERLANAL HANGING PARAKEET . Loriculus vernalis . This is the common parakeet species in INDIA . INDIAN'S are often take them as a pet ,but it is legaly prohibited that any indegenous bird of INDIA can not take home as a pet in the cage.
